Terms & Conditions

MAKING A DOWNPAYMENT AND/OR ANY PREPAYMENT TO US FOR OUR SERVICES, YOU ARE ACEPTING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HERE BELOW:

Curated Greece is the trading name of Curated Travel PC and both represent the same legal entity.

THE ITEMS INCLUDED IN EVERY CURATED TRIP ARE THE ONES MENTIONED IN THE TRIP SUMMARY TITLED “INCLUDED IN THE TRIP” AND ONLY.

  1. Deposit and Payment Policy

A minimum 25% non-refundable deposit of the full amount per person is required in order to secure and place all reservations. This deposit will count towards the cost of your trip.

This deposit is mainly allocated to paying air tickets, ferry tickets and non-refundable deposits to accommodation establishments and hence it is non-refundable.

The amount of the deposit may vary and will be advised to the traveler on a case by case basis for each tailor made trip.

No reservation is considered confirmed until the deposit has been received in our account.

Final payment must be made no later than 60 days prior to departure date.

If your reservation is made within 60 days or less of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.

Failure to provide full payment according to above outlined schedules will result in cancellation of your Curated Greece Trip.

In case the custom trip includes accommodation in a villa, then a payment of up to 50% might be needed upon confirmation. The traveler will be advised accordingly.

  1. Change and Cancellation Policy:

For packages including accommodation in hotels:

  • 60+ Days prior to departure: non-refundable deposit penalty plus any incurred fees.
  • 59 – 46 days prior to departure: 20% penalty of total remaining amount
  • 45 – 31 Days prior to departure: 50% penalty of total remaining amount
  • Within 30 Days prior to arrival: 100% penalty of total remaining amount
  • No refunds will be made for no-shows, early departures or unused services
  • All refund requests must be made in writing and are processed within 30 to 60 days

For packages including accommodation in villas:

Curated Greece reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking and refund only the appropriate portion of the deposit if full payment is not provided in accordance with our deposit and full payment policy.

Cancellation policies might differ depending on the accommodation establishment used and if different they will be advised to the traveler.

In case the custom trip includes accommodation in a villa, then the cancellation policy changes as per the below:

  • 75+ Days prior to departure: non-refundable deposit penalty plus any incurred fees.
  • 74 – 46 days prior to departure: 25% penalty of total remaining amount
  • 45 – 31 Days prior to departure: 50% penalty of total remaining amount
  • Within 30 Days prior to arrival: 100% penalty of total remaining amount
  • No refunds will be made for no-shows, early departures or unused services
  • All refund requests must be made in writing and are processed within 30 to 60 days

In case the trip includes yacht charters, cruises and other less usual elements, then the payment and cancellation policy will be advised on a case by case basis to the traveler.

Any changes to the trip must be requested clearly and in writing to Curated Greece and in a timely manner.

  1. Travel Insurance:

It is the travelers’ responsibility to protect their purchases. Curated Greece strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive trip insurance and in particular “cancel for any reason” insurance.

  1. Accuracy of information, Travel Documents and Identification:

It is the responsibility of the travelers to make sure they have valid travel documents like passport and Visa (when required), in order to participate in the trip.

Failure to obtain valid travel documents shall not create the right to cancellation or refund.

Passengers are responsible to ensure that the names printed on the itinerary and other travel documents exactly match the first and last name written in their passport.

  1. Public Holidays, Seasonal Availability:

During local or national holidays abroad or during off-season months (depending on the destination), certain facilities such as museums, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited.

It is not Curated Greece’s responsibility to ensure availability of the above although we always try to advise travelers accordingly.

  1. Air & Sea Transportation:

Air & Sea tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  All tickets are offered based on published rates and are payable in full at time of confirmation.

Any changes to tickets may result to extra charges or may not permitted at all

Curated Greece travelers are subject to any limitations, liabilities, and tariffs imposed by transportation providers.

Curated Greece is not responsible for schedule changes or strikes.

Curated Greece is not responsible for the loss of travel connections due to schedule changes.

  1. Flight and Ferry Schedules Changes and Delays:

Any last minute changes and delays by operators are outside the control or responsibility of Curated Greece. Guests may reserve the right to hold the operators responsible for any such delays or changes.

In the event of a delays, changes or cancellations, the operators and not Curated Greece will determine the procedure to be followed and the amenities/compensation provided to travelers, if any.

  1. Accommodation:

Accommodations will be provided according to the agreed itinerary. In the event that a requested hotel becomes unavailable, an equal category accommodation option will be offered.

  1. Cruises:

Cruise accommodations, vessels and schedules are as per descriptions in the itinerary provided by Curated Greece. However, cruise operators reserve the right to substitute vessels and any changes to the accommodation or schedule are solely the responsibility of the cruise line.

Curated Greece does not have any responsibility for any of the changes mentioned above.

  1. Intermediary relationship:

We act only as the intermediary of all suppliers of accommodation, transport, tour guides, tour providers, attractions and activities and not as principal. These suppliers are independent. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to you as a result of any act or omission of these suppliers, their employees, agents, servants, or representatives.

While we use all reasonable efforts to choose quality suppliers, no undertaking, guarantee or warranty is given or shall be implied as to the fitness or condition of any goods or services provided by the supplier including accommodation, activities, transportation, food or drink. The services provided by these suppliers are subject to the laws of the place where the services are provided, and any conditions imposed by those suppliers. You acknowledge and understand that we have no liability for the actual provision of the arrangements or services provided by these suppliers. You also understand and acknowledge that the liability of such suppliers may be limited by their terms and conditions, tariffs, conditions of carriage, tickets and vouchers, and international conventions and agreements.

  1. Pricing and availability:

Supplier pricing and availability may change without notice. You agree that we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in any quotes, advertisements, including on our website, resulting in inventory, content, or pricing discrepancies nor are we responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur as a result of incorrect information from third parties.

  1. Our liability

To be eligible to take a trip with Curated Greece, you accept the risks of travel. Subject to the rest of this section you assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, death or damage to you or to your family or their dependents or property arising in connection with you and their participation in the trip.

The cost of Curated Greece trips are based on travelers agreeing to these terms and conditions. As we are acting solely as an intermediary, you release us and our employees, agents and suppliers from all liability for economic loss and physical or mental injury, illness, direct or indirect, arising in connection with the trip, including, without limitation, permanent disability and death; any emotional distress; any loss of services, financial support, aid, consortium or companionship; and any damage to or loss of property—in each case even if caused in whole or in part by the conduct, including our negligence, except where such loss, injury or damage is caused by reckless or fraudulent conduct on our part. Please note that it is your responsibility to show that we or our supplier(s) have been negligent if you wish to make a claim against us.

Please note that we do not accept liability for:

  • Events outside our reasonable control
  • Acts or omissions of suppliers and third party service providers
  • Any loss, damage, compensation or expense if there has been no default or neglect by us
  • Any special, indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business loss (direct or indirect)
  • Any damage, loss, compensation or expense which you have suffered or incurred where, on the basis of the information you gave to us, we could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur
  • Any services which do not form part of our Agreement; for example, any additional services or facilities which your supplier or hotel agrees to provide for you
  • Which did not result from any breach of Agreement or other fault we or our employees caused

If we are liable to you we limit the maximum amount we may have to pay you for any claims you may make against us. This maximum amount is limited to the full cost of your trip.

You agree that you are responsible for all losses, damages or claims that arise in connection with the trip as a result of any misconduct of you or any members of your party. If any claims are made against us as a result of your acts or omissions, or those of any members of your party, you shall hold us harmless and if any money is claimed against us, indemnify us for such sums including any penalty or interest.

  1. Travelers Responsibilities

We are committed to making your trip as rewarding and fun as possible. But we require your help to do so. We ask that you respond to our questions in a timely manner so as not to delay the planning process in creating a tailor made trip for you.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately. Your travel documents are valuable and it is your responsibility to safeguard these at all times. Subject to force majeure, we are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your travel documents unless they are in our care.

We are not responsible for delays, changes or costs of any kind due to incomplete, expired or inaccurate travel documentation or insurance.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party do not behave in a way which is inappropriate or causes danger, distress, offence or damage to others or to property belonging to others. If, in our reasonable opinion or that of our suppliers, your behavior is inappropriate and may cause any of these situations to occur we may take appropriate action, including cancelling your trip arrangements. In such a case you will not be eligible for any refunds, payments of compensation and/or any reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result of such cancellation. You shall also be liable to reimburse us for any expenses we incur necessarily as a result of such cancellation.

  1. Force Majeure

Except where otherwise stated in these terms and conditions neither we or our suppliers are liable for any loss, damage, compensation or refund, cancellation or expense you suffer or incur or we are unable to perform our contractual obligations as a result of any event of ‘force majeure’. In these terms and conditions ‘force majeure’ means any event which we or our supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, strikes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, public health issues, adverse weather conditions and all similar events outside of our or our suppliers’ control.

  1. Health

By sending us the Deposit or the full payment you confirm to us that you, nor to your knowledge anyone travelling with you, if applicable, have any physical or other condition or disability that would make travelling unsafe for you or other travelers. You should take up-to-date health advice about the health precautions you will need to take prior to the commencement of your trip.

  1. Complaints

Curated Greece does the utmost to keep all travelers satisfied, but in the event that you are not entirely satisfied with the service offered, you should notify any complaint to our office as soon as possible by calling or emailing and communicating to us the details of your compliant. We shall use all reasonable efforts to rectify the complaint as quickly as possible. If the problem cannot be resolved during the trip period, you should contact us in writing within 14 days of returning from trip.

All matters arising are subject to the laws of the Hellenic Republic without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
